This weekend CRI juniors participated in Northeast Regional Championship regatta and posted exceptional results. Represented by all 4 of our youth competitive programs - Novice Girls', Novice Boys', Varsity Girls' and Varsity Boys' program, CRI juniors brought home multiple medals and secured bids for 6 varsity boats for Youth National Championship regatta, taking place June 7th-9th in Oak Ridge, TN.

CRI Welcomes
Jimmy Hughes
|
Some of you may know Jimmy as one of the friendly persons behind the front desk, and we are very pleased that now he will be taking on a larger role in the CRI family as Coordinator of Equipment, Youth Travel and Boathouse Retail. He will now be in charge of equipment and travel scheduling as well as the new CRI retail shop ... coming soon to a boathouse near you.
He began his rowing career at Michigan State University (GO Green!!) where he rowed for three years and served on the team's executive board as Vice-President. After graduation Jimmy moved to Boston, rowing at Riverside Boat Club with the high performance group before taking a break from rowing and going back to school in Miami, FL, to pursue a career in air traffic control.
Not able to stay away from Boston, and rowing, for long Jimmy is excited to be back in a boathouse. Though one day he hopes to make aviation his career, rowing is his passion and he tells us he is honored to be part of such a successful club as CRI.
Welcome Jimmy!
