CRI Annual Meeting 2012
An Evening of Celebration

There was a full house for the December 6, 2012 CRI Annual Meeting and Celebration of Volunteerism. Board members and CRI staff recapped the successes of the year and celebrated the amazing culture of volunteerism and giving that makes Community Rowing such an amazing place.  Attendees dined on a delicious bbq dinner while listening to the smooth melodies of the B3 Kings.

We thanked CRI Board Members Maura Glandorf and Amy Cederholm for their service and welcomed Stephen Maire and Bill McGowan to the CRI Board.  Stephen and Bill will each serve a 2-year term.

The evening highlights included the acknowledgement of seven "Super Volunteers", each who received a festive pair of snuggly CRI mittens as thanks for their great service. Honorees were: Laurie Arnone, Karen Fagan, Beth Noll, Suzi Garrity, Lynn Salmonsen, Mirana Varfi and Susan Chari.

A special thank you to Libby Boghossian who put together the memorable and inspiring slide show of the 2012 Year in Review.

Here's to a great 2012 and an even better 2013!
January Team Challenge
Join the CRI Team

The January team challenge is the only competition where every CRI member can join the team and help reach our goal.  Last year we were the first place team among the "real" clubs and rowed 30 million meters during the month - three-quarters of the way around the world.  We're out to beat that this year and we'll need everyone's help to do it!

If you'd like to help organize this year's challenge including creating some fun events to help us all build up meters, please email Jane Morse at jgmorse@morses.net

Remember, in January, EVERY meter counts!!
