Dear Chamber Members & Friends,

Being a part of a community is a lot like being on a sports team. As a community, you work with your teammates (neighbors) toward a common goal, and understand that success depends on every team member working together.

Here in Oak Cliff, the Chamber works alongside many other team members--City Council, neighborhood groups, business owners, and other important players who strive to better our community. That's why the theme of our annual Gala is "Oak Cliff: At the Top of Our Game." We want everyone to know that Oak Cliff has a great team behind it that is making this area the best place to live, work, and play!

What is the Gala?

The annual Gala is the Chamber's biggest event of the year. This year's Gala will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 6:00-10:00pm at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and includes an evening of dinner, live music, raffle, prizes, live & silent auction, and much more. We are excited to have Dallas Mavericks Game Night Emcee, Chris Arnold, as our Master of Ceremonies and many professional sports figures are rumored to attend.

As a non-profit that is funded solely by our programs and membership, the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce relies on fundraisers like the Gala to support our efforts in the community and to continue to work towards the betterment of Oak Cliff. How will attending the Gala benefit my business?

Provides valuable networking & procurement opportunities with over 500 of the region's most elite business professionals (DART, Methodist Hospital, City of Dallas, to name just a few...)
When you donate an item to the silent auction, your company name will be listed in the event program as a donor and you can send us your promotional materials to put out with your item for attendees to pick up at the event
For a higher business profile at the Gala, purchase a table and have your logo listed in the program and on the event signage, as well as in the event marketing materials

How do I sign up?

Go to www.gala.oakcliffchamber.org to register or to find out more about sponsorship. If you would like to donate an item, complete this Donor Form and return it to the Chamber, along with your item by May 16th.

You are a valuable part of the Oak Cliff team and we hope to see you at this event on May 30th. Let's show the world how Oak Cliff is AT THE TOP OF OUR GAME!

Congratulations 2014 Golden Oaks Scholarship Recipients!

On Thursday, April 24th, the Chamber held our annual Education Summit at Hitt Auditorium to recognize the recipients of the Chamber's Golden Oaks Scholarships and to provide an update to the community on education initiatives for public, private, and charter schools in Dallas.

Go to Ireland with Chamber Explorations in 2014

Travel to the Emerald Isle with Chamber Explorations, a group that offers first-rate travel opportunities exclusively to Chambers of Commerce.
