Educator of the Year Celebration Results

 On May 23rd, the Education Committee of the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce named six local teachers the 2013 Educators of the Year in the Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, High School, and College categories. Dr. Wright Lassiter, Chancellor of Dallas County Community College District, was our honored guest and speaker at this event and Mike Sorrell, President of Paul Quinn College, served as emcee.
And the 2013 Educators of the Year Are...
College: Mike Williams, Sr. (Dallas Baptist University)
High School: James Martin (Bishop Dunne)
Middle School: Bobby Diggs (Atwell Middle School) & Christopher Kemp (Fellowship Christian Academy)
Elementary School: Alison Beazley (The Kessler School)
Pre-School: Priscilla Cano (Mi Escuelita)
