I hope this note finds you all resting after a fulfilling summer! I haven't written in a long time and so wanted to send you a quick note.
My Western Travels were amazing! Business was strong and a new inspiration is growing within. In my mind I have designed a new line of wall murals, marrying my nature-scapes with my saggar work, all inspired by the Canyons & Tributaries of the western frontier! Keep an eye out, I should unveil these new visions by the end of the year. Here are some
recent installs from the summer.
I have finally put my newest
Saggar Fired Vessels online for you to see. Everything is available for purchase - or I can create a special commission, just for you. Work will ship out til late September, after that I can ship when I get home from Italy.
Yes!
My Tuscany Workshop is just weeks away. Can you feel my excitement. After 2 years, it's finally coming to pass. I'll be blogging on the events at
La Meridiana School of Ceramics as well as my personal travels after that. I imagine more inspiration will come from those adventures, how could it not! If you want to keep in touch with it all, I'll be sharing it on my
Studio Musings page and posting on my FB page,
Brenda McMahon Ceramics. A quick note for my Florida friends & followers, new this year, I'm joining
Tour de Clay in Tampa/St. Petersburg. This is a studio tour of upwards of 15 professional clay artists. I'm eager to make my debut and I welcome you all to hike the studio tour. I guarantee you will not be disappointed! I'll fill you in as the December event gets closer.
