Jericho Road Housing News

As the City of New Orleans undergoes construction of a Veterans Affairs Medical/ University Medical Center Complex in Mid-City, Jericho Road is rehabilitating two historic homes which were relocated from the Medical Complex site in an effort to preserve these historic homes. Once construction is complete, the newly rehabbed homes will be available for sale to low- to-moderate income homebuyers at an affordable sales price.

Jericho Road Logo Both homes will be renovated to Enterprise Green Communities standards, highlighting energy efficient design, construction and appliances which will ensure that they remain affordable from an operational perspective (utilities) for the homeowner.
