Canon Mark Stevenson on Sabbatical
Beginning June 7, Canon Stevenson will be on Summer sabbatical. He will be back in the office on Wednesday, August 28. This is a time away for rest, study and prayer. God Speed.

TUESDAY AT THE FLY
Join other Episcopal young adults from around the Diocese on Tuesday, June 11th, 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Fly behind Audubon Park. During the warmer weather, we take the God & Guinness crowd outside and this month our featured program consists of fellowship and group games. Bring your frisbee and a blanket and come fellowship with our young adult community!

Choir School at St. Peter's to perform at
St. Luke's Baton Rouge - June 16th 
St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge to host a special performance by the Choir School at St. Peter's in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday, June 16 at 7:00 PM.
The Choir School at St. Peter's is made up of five auditioned choirs of children ranging in age from six to eighteen. Choristers come from across the Charlotte, North Carolina area and they represent a number of different denominations, cultures, and economic backgrounds. Each year the choir's managing director Kay Johnson takes the three older choirs on tour. In the past they have traveled to the east coast of the United States and to Canada. They have even been invited to perform in England! This summer their tour includes stops in Mississippi and Louisiana for the first time. St. Luke's looks forward to welcoming this fine group of young people and enjoying their musical talents. Please join us!

Choir School at St. Peter's to perform at
St. Paul's NOLA - June 17th
On June 17th, St. Peter's Episcopal Church Children and Youth Touring Choir will perform at St. Paul's Episcopal Church at 7:00pm.
They are seeking housing for two nights (for two or four at a time) for all the singers ranging in ages from six to eighteen. If you are able to help St. Paul's with this housing, please contact Caroline Carson, Director of Music at St. Paul's by email or 504.390.5331.

Addictions Recovery Retreat
The Addictions Recovery Ministry of the Diocese of Louisiana will hold its 30th annual retreat for men and women who are in recovery, wish to be in recovery, or are just interested in recovery spirituality. St. John's Episcopal Church to Bless Scatter Garden
St. John's Episcopal Church, Thibodaux, invites the community to the blessing of a Scatter Garden at 10:30 a.m., June 9. The Scatter Garden is a space set aside for cremated remains. This garden has been constructed by St. John's as a ministry to Southeastern Louisiana for those who want a place to scatter remains back into God's creation. Click here to read more.
