Safeguarding God's Children Training
April 14th - St. Paul's, New Orleans, 12p 
St. Paul's Episcopal Church will host a "Safeguarding God's Children" training on Sunday, April 14 from noon until approximately 3:30 pm. This training will be conducted by Amelia Arthur, Diocesan Youth & Young Adult Coordinator, and is open to anyone in your congregation or on your staff who needs/wants to attend. Lunch will be provided at a cost of $10 per person to be collected on the day of the training.

All those planning to visit Ponchatoula for the 2013 Strawberry Festival are invited to visit our Snowball Tent at All Saints Episcopal Church located one block from the festival grounds at West Hickory and North 7th Streets. There you'll find the finest Strawberry Snowballs at the best price in town, plus cold drinks and water too!
For those with children coming for Family Night on Friday, April 12, when carnival ride prices are reduced, we'll have hot dogs for sale between 5 and 8 p.m.

The St. James Center for Spiritual Formation is pleased to announce a weekend workshop on Celtic Spirituality and the Christian Tradition, led by acclaimed theologian and pilgrimage leader, Marcus Losack on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13. St. Martin's, Metairie, to Host Art Show
Discover the Art of Good Works, a fine arts show and sale held at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 2216 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA on Saturday, April 13 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. featuring oil painting, watercolors, mixed media, ceramics and sculpture.

ECW Annual Gathering to feature author/dramatist Katerina Katsarka Whitley, April 19-20, at St. George's Episcopal Church, New OrleansThe Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of the Diocese of Louisiana is hosting its 126th Annual Gathering at historic St. George's Church, 4600 St. Charles Avenue, April 19-20. The Annual Gathering welcomes guest presenter, Katerina Katsarka Whitley of Louisville, Kentucky, - an accomplished author, speaker and dramatist. Her theme, "Many Paths, One Journey," is a topic derived from the women's national meeting where Whitley served as a presenter. Whitley will be featured both days at St George's and will have her most recent book about Greek cuisine and Easter, available for autographing.
