Living With Purpose Fellowship Program Update
Episcopal Community Services of Louisiana is preparing for the 2013-2014 Living With Purpose fellowship program, and I write to invite you to attend a meeting to learn how your Parish or ministry can apply to host a Fellow for the upcoming academic year.
The Living With Purpose fellowship program will bring thirteen recent college graduates to live in residential sites in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. In the course of the year, participants will engage in service, Christian formation and community building. Site placements engage the fellows in ministry, provide supervision, training, and guidance, and develop competence in the duties required as well as an understanding of the full scope and mission of their agency.
If you are interested in being a site placement agency, it is necessary to attend one of two Living With Purpose Informational Meetings: May 1st at St. James Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge and on April 17th at Christ Church Cathedral in New Orleans. Both meetings will be held from 11:00AM -1:00PM and a light lunch will be served. Please confirm your attendance by sending an email indicating which meeting you plan to attend to info@ecsla.org by April 1, 2013
