ECW Annual Gathering to feature author/dramatist Katerina Katsarka Whitley, April 19-20, at St. George's Episcopal Church, New OrleansThe Episcopal Church Women (ECW) of the Diocese of Louisiana is hosting its 126th Annual Gathering at historic St. George's Church, 3900 St. Charles Avenue, April 19-20. The Annual Gathering welcomes guest presenter, Katerina Katsarka Whitley of Louisville, Kentucky, - an accomplished author, speaker and dramatist. Her theme, "Many Paths, One Journey," is a topic derived from the women's national meeting where Whitley served as a presenter. Whitley will be featured both days at St George's and will have her most recent book about Greek cuisine and Easter, available for autographing. St. Michael's Episcopal Preschool in Mandeville chose the St. Tammany Humane Society as the beneficiary of its almsgiving this Lent. The children collected money in their mite boxes during Lent and the collection was blessed on an altar dedicated to St. Francis.

St. Martin's To Host St. Patrick's Parade Event March 17
Come to Gayle Hall at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 2216 Metairie Road, Metairie, LA to enjoy fellowship, food, and facilities. All this in preparation for the St. Patrick's Parade that rolls right down Metairie Road in front of St. Martin's. Bring a friend (or a whole family of friends) to take advantage of this offer.
There is a nominal charge of $7 for adults, $3 for children and a $20 maximum cap for a family. In addition to soft drinks, beer, and snack food, we'll have red beans and rice and hot dogs courtesy of Lucky Dog. Come early, stay late, and bring a friend.

A Weekend Workshop led by Marcus Losack
The St. James Center for Spiritual Formation is pleased to announce a weekend workshop on Celtic Spirituality and the Christian Tradition, led by acclaimed theologian and pilgrimage leader, Marcus Losack on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13. The program will be held in the Ministries Center of St. James Episcopal Church, 208 N. Fourth Street at Florida Street.
