Give the Gift of Hope to Storm Victims

Episcopal Community Services of Louisiana (ECSLA)

ECSLA is supporting the efforts of St. Paul's Homecoming Center as they raise funds through Episcopal Relief and Disaster for Hurricane Isaac victims in Braithwaite, LA, and Hurricane Sandy victims in the East Coast.

In the spirit of Christmas, St. Paul's Homecoming Center, a ministry of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in New Orleans, is asking people across our area to consider "adopting" a family through a donation of $100, about the cost of one night out at a nice restaurant.

A donation of $100 will buy much-needed groceries, gasoline, cleaning supplies or household items . Most of all, $100 can give an impacted family hope and the knowledge that they are not forgotten.

In order that families receive the assistance by Christmas, donations should be made no later than December 15 either online by clicking HERE or mailing to the Homecoming Center at 1509 Filmore Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70122. Please indicate on your check if you want the money donated to go to Braithwaite or the East Coast. Money raised for the East Coast will be given to Episcopal Relief and Development to help with their work assisting disaster-impacted families.
