Hello!

Happy spring to you (if you're in the Northern Hemisphere like I am), I hope this season of regeneration and all things fresh and new is being good to you so far.

One of the things I work on with a lot of my coaching clients and Live a Life You Love Club members is reducing stress through decluttering and improved organization, and this is the perfect time of year for that.

One of the hardest things about tackling a messy, cluttered room, space, desk, garage, basement or closet is that it can seem totally overwhelming, you don't know where to start and how you will ever manage to finish. For those reasons, most people procrastinate dealing with the messy area or avoid it altogether.

Recently a friend invited me to join her in a fantastic "Minimalism Game" of decluttering, it's so fun and simple and progressively declutters your entire home in a way that's so enjoyable. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, every step feels like a celebration, you will be so proud of yourself as you will easily succeed.

I'm playing this game all month in my own home and I invite you do join me and do the same, to read how it works see the feature article below: A Brilliant, Fun Strategy for Spring Decluttering.

Finally, if you thought of joining my 4th annual Live a Life You Love Club when it launched at the beginning of the year but missed the opportunity, you can still join in now if you'd like to, I'm trying something new with the program this year. Scroll down to see more information on how you can join in, below the feature article.

All the very best to you,

Susan

A Brilliant, Fun Strategy for Spring Decluttering

I have a young friend who I really admire, she's over-the-top passionate about minimizing her footprint and living in an environmentally responsible way.  At the beginning of this month, she invited me to join her in a month-long decluttering challenge that is proving to be the most exhilarating, purposeful shedding of stuff I've ever engaged in.

Inspired by the The Minimalists' "Minimalism Game", here's how it works.  Every day, you remove a specific number of items from your home, based on the day of the month.

We started on the first day of this month (it's the tenth as I write this), and on that first day we each got rid of one item. You donate it, gift it, recycle it or trash it, but whatever it is has to be out of your home by midnight that night.  On the second day of the month, you get rid of two items. On the third day, three items, and on it goes.

It's blissfully easy at first, but now we're into double digits. Day after day after day, you have to come up with more things to get rid of.  It gets harder, obviously, but in some ways it's actually gotten easier. I've been thrilled to discover that the challenge has radically changed the way I look at my stuff.

Join the 2016 Live a Life You Love Club

What are your dreams for your life for 2016?  Stop and think about them for a moment...would you like to feel better about yourself? To feel happier and more fulfilled? To enjoy better health and finally get fit? To laugh more? Play more? Would you like to feel like you're finally living up to your potential and giving your dreams a chance?

In 2013 I created something that was a dream for me.  I brought together an intimate group of women in my hometown and called it the "Live a Life You Love Exclusive Club". We encouraged, learned, challenged, dreamed, grew, cried and cheered our way through 12 beautiful months together, and we are now friends for life.  It was a joy to see many wonderful things happen, from a-ha moments and breakthroughs to the fulfillment of life dreams.

In 2014 I took the Live a Life You Love Club international and have done so every year since.  In the 2016 Club we have members from across North America, Europe, the UK, the Middle East, and Australia, this never fails to thrill me. This year the format is slightly different (and I am enjoying it even more) as all Premium level members have monthly one-on-one coaching with me, and have more personal accountability - and success - that way.

"Through a series of events throughout the years in both my career and personal life, I felt as if I was no longer in control of my life or where it was going. Making the decision to join Susan's Live a Life You Love Club was the best decision of my life, and that's not an exaggeration. The monthly readings, exercises and the incredibly inspiring talks and discussions with Susan helped me to piece by piece figure out what steps I needed to take. Today I feel centered, rarely feel stressed, am extremely satisfied with my career and am so excited about the future for the first time in a very long time."
- Sofia B., Club Member, Tennessee, USA

Normally I close registration after the first week of January each year, but so many women inquired about the Club throughout the year last year that I've decided to try something new.

If you'd like to work personally with me for this entire year, but missed the January deadline, you can still join in!  I've had several new members join in the last couple of months, you simply start at the point of the curriculum where the group is currently at (this month we're working on Conquering the Inner Critic).  You'll catch up on any missed modules month by month in early 2017, so that you're able to complete the full 12 month curriculum.

"I have found the space in my mind, heart, and life to focus on the things I really want to do.  In turn, the desire to escape overseas to a new life dissolved, and I found myself living the kind of life I no longer wanted to escape from."
- Louise M., Club Member, Brisbane, Australia
