American Baptists gathered Aug. 6 at the Peace Pole at American Baptist Churches USA's Mission Center, Valley Forge, Pa., to pray and remember the 1945 bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan.

'Passionaries in New Orleans' construct labyrinth
as 10th-anniversary project
For the 10th anniversary year of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, volunteers constructed a 17-foot-diameter labyrinth in New Orleans' Lower 9th Ward during "Home Mission: 'Til the Work is Done."
