Board recognizes AFC top-giving churches |
 At its November meeting, the ABHMS board recognized directors' top-giving churches for their exemplary support of the America for Christ Offering (AFC) 2013. In addition, they elected officers, received ministry updates and learned about AFC 2014 and immigration reform.

ABHMS participates in New Baptist
Covenant Summit |

 At November's two-day New Baptist Covenant Summit in Atlanta, Baptist leaders from several U.S. regions and diverse traditions--including those from ABHMS--announced cooperative service projects to promote literacy as well as to combat hunger and predatory lending.

Former Educational Ministries' staff reunites |

 More than 120 past staff members and spouses of the former Educational Ministries recently traveled from throughout the United States to reunite for dinner in Valley Forge, Pa. The event was sponsored by ABHMS and American Baptist Churches USA.

For the 200th anniversary of Adoniram Judson's mission trip to Burma, ABHMS and the Burma Refugees Task Force have produced the documentary DVD "A New Land, A New Hope: The Journey of Christians from Burma to the United States."
