Greetings in the name of
our Lord and Savior!
As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, I find myself giving thanks for Thanksgiving. This day compels us to break from our all-too-hectic lives, contemplate the many blessings bestowed upon us and spend precious time with family and friends. Day-to-day responsibilities often overshadow the importance of "stopping to smell the roses," touching base with our loved ones or even nurturing our own soul--so critical to the whole lives that God wants for each us. This Thanksgiving, as you take respite from the rat race, I encourage you to commit to taking time in the coming year to regularly refresh and renew your spirit. I become more convinced each day that God wants us to practice diligent self-care.
May your Thanksgiving be deeply blessed.
