We dodged Erika, truly a non-event, and hope the rest of the hurricane season is as harmless.  Actually we have had a very lovely summer here with a slower pace and time to savor the Florida lifestyle. 

We never write about what we have not experienced so thank you readers, we just had the most fun ever!  Took a Palm Beach Segway Tour and loved every moment.  Read all about it and try it!

The 2 hour tour rolls through the city of West Palm Beach, along the waterfront and over the bridge to Palm Beach Island.
The 1 hour experience rolls through the city of West Palm Beach, along the waterfront and focuses more on the thrill of riding a segway with a bit less time and narration than our 2hr tour.  An awesome, unique adventure for those looking to try something new & different. You won't want it to end!    

Your Tour Includes:
  • Segway i2 PT (newer models)
  • Handlebar Bag (for personal belongings)
  • Expert Training (indoors at our comfortable shop)
  • Helmet (required)
  • Radio Earpiece (to hear your guide)
  • Cold Bottled Water (stay hydrated)
  • Rain Poncho (if necessary)
Restrictions and Guidelines:
  • Riders must be 14 years old and under 18 accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Riders should be capable of standing upright for at least 60 minutes.
  • We roll rain or shine and reserve the right to reschedule due to severe weather.
  • Cancellations must occur 48 hours prior to tour time in order to receive a refund.
  • Closed-toe flat shoes or sneakers are required. NO flip-flops, sandals, heels, etc.
  • Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the current weather conditions.
  • Do not bring large purses or handbags.
  • Bring a smile and be ready to "roll"

Florida had the nation's third-highest home-price appreciation from the second quarter of 2014 to the second quarter of 2015, the Federal Housing Finance Agency says.
Home values here rose 9.7 percent for the year, trailing only Colorado and Utah.  Over the longer term, though, Florida appreciation isn't as robust.  Over the past five years, Florida's 30 percent appreciation ranks seventh.  And since 1991, Florida home values are up 136 percent, good for only 17th place.  Palm Beach County outpaces Florida in all three time frames - up 15 percent for the year, 44 percent over five years and 149 percent since 1991.
