2013 BallenIsles Sales Summary
What a year!!!! Compare this year's 92 sales with 69 in 2012 and 48 in 2009. The trend is UP and there has been almost 20% increase in sales just this past year alone. Inventory has has shrunk to 50 properties currently on the market but 116 were on the market this time last year. Why? Sellers have re-adjusted their expectations and prices have come way down. Buyers have waited and now feel confident the price is right. Compare the 2012 average list/sold price of $617,100/$540,300 and market time of 244 days to 2013 average list/sold price $581,572/$511,987 and average market time of 235 days. Buyers have noticed the value and know the time to purchase is NOW. Sellers have noticed that the time to move on or trade up is NOW!

Sailfish Marina
Everyone who visits the marina spends time walking on the docks looking at the million dollar yachts and watching hundreds of fish in the crystal clear water. With unique guest quarters, ship's store, and a dockside restaurant, everything for a relaxing tropical getaway is at your finger tips.
The captains and mates who operate the charter fleet are knowlegable and, most importantly, friendly. If you take the opportunity to walk the Charter Dock (nearest the Ship's Store), you may hear some of those now famous fish stories and learn more about the history and the excitement of catching a trophy fish.
Indulge in waterfront dining at its finest with daily features, enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Sailfish Marina Restaurant, where fresh local seafood is the true star of the menu. Your choices range from Abaco grouper and dolphin to Florida spiny lobster and stone crabs. They buy right off the fishing boats when available.
The Ship Store offers a wonderful collection of treasures for all, from near and far...for the beach, the boat and beyond. They've got you covered from head to toe, sunrise to sunset, with collections of fine Resort Wear, Footwear, Accessories, Jewelry and Books, Games and Toys for the entire family.
The Bait and Tackle shop has all the supplies for fishing and your days in the sun. Bait and boat supplies are ready for early departures and products for sun protection, sunglasses, hats, flip flops, beach towels, beach toys, snacks, soda, beer, and ice are always available. Please don't leave before buying "fish food" to feed the fish in the Seawall Aquarium. A delightful experience for everyone.
