Visitors to the Festival will have the unique opportunity to get inside the walls of the new space and experience its development. During hard-hat tours offered throughout the weekend, visitors can experience the raw industrial space being transformed into a community-centric hub of food, retail and office space. Visitors will watch old walls come down and new ones go up.
CherryArts Festival at Stanley is excited to feature the interactive artwork of Jen Lewin at the event. Lewin is an internationally renowned sculptor who integrates light, sound and motion into her pieces. Over the last 15 years, the Boulder-based sculptor has honed her highly technical medium to fabricate large-scale interactive sculptures for the community to enjoy.
The Chandelier Harp, an interactive instrument played by passing your hand, arm, leg or body through the low voltage lasers that shine to the ground, will be the feature piece at CherryArts Festival at Stanley. Make sure to see it in person during the Festival.
