We are so excited to be two months out from celebrating a historic year for the Cherry Creek Arts Festival! The 25th Anniversary is upon us, and we couldn't be more thrilled to share this with you on the vibrant streets of Cherry Creek North July 3, 4, 5. Back in January our all-star anniversary jury came together to select 260 artists from across the nation that are preparing their artwork for exhibition. These artists are the reason we do what we do and are busy in their studios engaging their imaginations and creating work we can all enjoy in July. When I think about celebrating the 25th Anniversary, I think about how the Arts Festival has grown into a thriving year-round arts organization, CherryArts. We are able to do this because of you. Because of your support, we can continue the grand tradition of the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and impact students lives year round. 2015 Festival Poster Artist:
Kelly Schurger
"As It Was In 1915" is this year's commemorative poster, created by Kelly Schurger.
Schurger is a landscape artist who combines contemporary art with realism to give landscape pieces a unique feel.
"I think so often people miss some of the more simplistic beauty that surrounds us...the way the clouds
hug the mountains, or the multitude of colors in a mountain stream," said Schurger. "Keeping each piece simple allows viewers to use his/her memory and imagination to
 make it his/her own."

For the 14th year, Janus, CCAF title sponsor and a global investment management company based in Denver, Colorado, is pleased to continue support of this exceptional community of artists and learners through this one-of-a-kind experiential art education program.
Students explore the world of art in a classroom module that culminates in a hands-on art buying experience at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival. Through the program, students learn and practice valuable skills, such as teamwork, negotiation, art appreciation, art-buying, public speaking and more.
To learn more about the program, click here. Join us on Friday, July 3rd as student representatives participate in the art buying experience. From 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., students will display their pieces in a gallery-type setting and present their pieces to an art review panel.
