Each summer, Dor L'Dor gives our oldest campers their chance to make a personal connection to the State of Israel by visiting the land and meeting the people. They discover ways to integrate this global Jewish perspective into their own growth as young leaders for their communities and for camp. And each year, the teens call this capstone life-changing.

As I wrote to you recently, many Dor L'Dor Leadership Program families this year have been struggling to give their children this extraordinary experience--one they have been looking forward to for years--because of cost.

So many of you responded, stepping forward so generously! Our goal this year was $18,000. We now have reached $29,000, which means we can look ahead to supporting even more families next year, too.

Each year, The Cohen Camps provide extensive scholarship aid, and more comes from Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) and other community organizations. This year, 93% of eligible teens wanted to attend DLD--more than ever before. Both organizations allocated all their available funds, and yet the need was greater...and that's where you came in.
