FROM OUR PTSA PRESIDENT
Dear Steinbrenner Students, Families, and Teachers,
On behalf of the PTSA Board, welcome back to our returning families! To our new families, welcome to the Steinbrenner community! We hope you enjoyed the summer, and we are enthusiastic for another exciting and successful school year.
This is my first year as president of the PTSA and I am looking forward to the opportunity.
The PTSA is a nonprofit organization run by volunteers who provide valuable support, services and programs to the Steinbrenner High School Community and its teachers and students. All of us want our children to be heard, supported, and encouraged and to be and do their very best during their time in high school. The PTSA provides the revenue and support for many programs that are offered throughout the year. Since we are a volunteer based, not for profit organization, we spend only what we make and ask for only what will help to contribute to these programs.
The majority of our revenue comes from membership dues - but you can donate as well ~ and not just your money ~ we need your time.
I encourage you to renew or start a new membership for only $10 per person. We are excited to be able to offer you the flexibility to sign up for membership on our website this year.
By being a volunteer, you are showing your child that you are interested, that you care and you are staying involved and in turn, you are staying informed.
We look forward to getting to know your family. Visit our website at www.steinbrennerptsa.org to find out what's happening and how you can help. There you will also see the many awards that we've won over the years.
If you would like to contact me directly, feel free to email me at: gshsptsapresident@gmail.com Please know that questions and suggestions are always welcome!
"A strong PTSA embodies parent involvement and parent involvement represents student success."
