GCSB Reveals New Brand
Hopefully you have noticed our refreshed branding elements on our signs, in our printed communications, our ads and our website. We are excited about this new look and the thoughtful process that we followed to develop it. After 80-plus years, we felt like it was important to make the update the right way, by including our staff in the process and reflecting on our vision and values. As an independent community bank, we know how important it is that we provide excellent service both inside and outside the bank. That means being visible in the community and working side-by-side with our neighbors on projects and programs that improve our quality of life for all residents of Guthrie County. Wondering what our new logo means? Read more about our new brand here.

TRAVELING SOON? TIPS TO AVOID POTENTIAL FRAUD.
As the summer travel season winds down, don't let your guard drop while you are on vacation. Unfortunately, you can't take a break from protecting your identity and your financial tools like debit and credit cards. Fraudsters can take advantage of relaxed vacationers and swipe personal information and credit/debit cards. Here are a few tips to help avoid the inconvenience of fraud while you are enjoying your summer getaway:
- Contact us: If your bank is unaware you're traveling out-of-state or internationally, they may freeze your account when a purchase is made there.
- Clean out your wallet: Take only the credit and debit cards you need, and make sure your limits are high enough to cover all expenses.
- Visit the copy machine: Copy or scan the front and back of each card you plan to take. Be sure your account number and toll-free customer service number are legible.
- Keep an eye on your cards: Food servers and store clerks can steal card information easily with a skimming device, so don't let your cards out of sight. If that's not possible, consider paying with cash.
- Monitor your account frequently: Checking your account balance online helps you spot unauthorized use quickly.
With a little pre-trip planning and conscientious monitoring while on the road, you can help avoid frustrating and inconvenient fraud issues while you are enjoying your summer vacation.
