A Grant in Action - Trinity High School
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Thanks, in part, to funding from the HEB ISD Education Foundation, Trinity High School was able to produce its first all-school musical in over 25 years. Eight different departments and four community groups worked together to produce Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. - The cast and crew of over sixty students showed an increase in their GPA's.
- The production helped generate additional student enrollment in theatre and choir classes.
- Volunteers contributed nearly 850 hours of service.
- In total, 1281 patrons attended the show.
- Seven different art classes (K-12) contributed to the art contest which decorated the lobby.
"The grant not only provided us the means to positively impact students in Trinity Fine Arts, but it also allowed us to turn a profit, creating a self-sustaining Musical account for future productions."
- Renee Coffey, Fine Arts Trinity High School
