Hoodies - 18x20 oil on linen

Non-art related things have taken priority over the last couple of months but I have managed to squeeze in some painting time.
I've redistributed paintings among my galleries also, so be sure to check my blog gallery pages to see the current available works in each location. I know the season is just beginning in some areas, while in others, things are quieting down. Funny how that works.

The personal things that I say have gotten in the way of my artwork are all actually very good things. My parents recently moved to the Austin area, and we are thrilled to have them close! I was busy helping them house hunt and then get settled in once the deal was done.

Speaking of Blogs
I've been
first ever blog post -
Sept. 18, 2006
working in Blurb to copy all my blog posts into a book. So far, its over 250 pages and I have two more years to add. I began blogging in late 2006. I can't believe its been 6 + years. I wanted to put all of that information into one place that I can reference easily. So far, Blogger has never had a glitch, but I don't want to risk my digital journal being lost in the ether. Plus, a book will allow me to see my body of work and keep track of inventory. I can review what I've shared, and peruse my personal and professional highs and lows.

I don't know yet if I will make it publicly available. I suppose I could. It will likely be pretty expensive though!

Houston Symphony Poster
Symphony Poster
I created a poster for the Houston Symphony and it can be ordered at Imagekind.com. Years ago, I set up some painting images on there to offer poster-type prints. You can select whether you want paper or canvas, framed, etc. I haven't added new work there, but may. Honestly, a print cannot replace the original, nor compete with it. But its budget friendly. If you saw a piece you'd like as a print, let me know and we can set it up!
