Limited Edition Giclee

Thanks so much for all your wonderful comments and votes on your favorite subjects. What fun to hear what you really respond to! The winning subject was museums - followed closely by laundry scenes which I found to be interesting and gratifying! I enjoy painting those. I gets me outside in natural light and the elements.
So now I have a print ready. My whole idea is to do one annually. It can become a collector's item. I will limit the prints to 20. So get yours now before they are all gone.

Jane C. was the winner of the giclee and the two books. Congratulations... and thank you!

Artwork for Feem at RC Femme Show at Russell Collection

November was more than a little hectic for me and I was pushing my deadlines until the last minute getting work done and delivered to the gallery. As you can see, I worked a little larger than usual and it was a challenge. It paid off though. In previews, two paintings sold and then another sold on opening night. That was really positive feedback! The show as a whole is very interesting - all women artists - all with very diverse styles and voices.

The show hangs until Dec. 22 but the work will continue to be available at the gallery. You can see my available paintings on my blog.

Plein Air Magazine Feature

Part of my award for winning the Kerrville Outdoor Painter's event was a half page ad in Plein Air magazine. But to my surprise, there was also a little blurb and photo in their news section.

Fine Art Firm (formerly Studio 47 in Vermont) is still finishing their renovations but are ready for me to ship work. They are hoping to open this month and plan to have a grand opening in the new year.

I see on the Gardner Colby web site that they are planning a group show "Slice of Life" opening in March. Work will be underway for that soon! Its good to plan ahead.
Warmest Wishes for a Beautiful Holiday Season

I have much to be thankful for at this time of year. I have been blessed to be able to 'work' at what I love and to be able to spend as much time as I can with my daughter as she grows up (too fast). We're in a little crunch period here now with my husband being out of work, but I doubt it will last long and I know we are much better off than so many. Its hard to feel negative when we are healthy, have each other and our families, and we live in a safe and prosperous place. I wish you all a very blessed Hanukkah and Christmas and a joyous new year.
