Lasdon Park Celebrates VE Day The Lasdon Park Arboretum and Veterans Memorial celebrates the 50th anniversary of the end of WWII with food, 1940s era music from the Gerard Carelli Orchestra, a military vehicle show in the Veterans Museum and authentic re-enactments. This event will make you feel as good as the sailor celebrating VJ Day in Times Square in the famous Alfred Eisentstadt photograph taken for Life Magazine in 1945.
