David Mamet's A Life In The Theatre at PAC  Philadelphia's Walnut Street Theatre On Tour presents Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Mamet's A Life in the Theatre. TheNew York Yorker called Mamet's laugh-filled, behind-the-scenes look at backstage ego trips, feuds, fears, and acting tips, "a love letter to the theatre." The play was first produced at Chicago's Goodman Theatre in February 1977 and opened off-Broadway later that year. Memorable productions have starred the likes of Joe Montegna, F.
