Grammy-nominated artist Matisyahu returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse with his annual Festival of Light show. This Hanukah event celebrates the Jewish holiday with a performance featuring sets that include material spanning his entire career. Westchester Knicks
The Westchester Knicks return to the County Center with back to back games on January 2 and 3. The W-Knicks are led by All Atlantic 10 guard Langston Galloway from St. Joseph's College, Todd Mayo (brother of AJ Mayo) and 6' 7" forward Thanasis Antetokounmpo who was drafted in the second round of the 2014 NBA draft by the New York Knicks. More.

Phil Lesh & Friends are at the Capitol Theatre Mon-Wed, 12/29-31. The Temptations and the Four Tops' seven show run at the Palace Theatre on Broadway skips New Year's Eve but hits every day from 12/29-1/4. Locally, the New Baroque Soloists perform a program of Bach, Handel and Telemann on New Year's afternoon at the Mount Kisco Presbyterian Church. More Winter Music.

Phil Lesh & Joe Russo's Almost Dead on New Year's Eve

Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh joins Dead cover band Joe Russo's Almost Dead at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester for three nights from Mon-Wed, 12/29-31. Most played songs on Phil's setlist this year include Dark Star, Viola Lee Blues, and Uncle John's Band. Blues Traveler is at the Capitol Theatre on Sat, 12/27 and Tower of Power holds their Pre-New Year's Eve Party at the Tarrytown Music Hall on Tues, 12/30.

Kick off your New Year's Celebration with a family friendly, afternoon performance by The New Baroque Soloists at the Presbyterian Church of Mt. Kisco. NBS performs large scale Chamber Music for strings, brass and winds. Its members perform with the Orpheus Orchestra, the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society, the New York Philharmonic and the Orchestra of St. Luke's. They love Bach, Handel and Telemann.
