Turkeys Needed for Holiday Food Drive! 
Community Center of Westchester Turkey Drive
The Community Center of Northern Westchester needs turkeys for their holiday food drive. The Center plans to distribute food to 700 families in need in Northern Westchester. You can drop off your donations at the center or send a monetary donation to support the drive. You can also make donations at Grand Prix New York on Wed, 12/3 from 6-8pm. Donate for a chance to win a ticket to race or bowl at Grand Prix. Grand Prix's fundraiser for the Center offers drink specials, local sports guests and trivia contests. To donate a turkey, or for a full list of other needed food items click here.

The new Spotlight Series from jazz icon Charlie Lagond, Live from The Haven, kicks off with the rock, reggae, and soul sounds of Garland Jeffreys on Sat, 11/22. Jeffreys was named Rolling Stone Magazine's Best new Artist of 1973 for his cult-hit single "Wild In The Streets." He is best known for his cover of "96 Tears," originally recorded by ? and the Mysterians. Charlie Lagond is a friend of the North Castle Public Library and plays there regularly. His new monthly spotlight series at his performance space in Elmsford will feature acts from roots-rock, and Afro-beat, to bluegrass and jazz. This fundraiser series supports The Lagond Music School. Frosty Day in Armonk

The list of events for Armonk's Frosty Day keeps getting bigger and better. While the highlight of the day is the Main Street parade, complete with marching bands and entertainers at 4:30pm, there are events all around town from 12-4pm. Including the Frosty Express Train Ride from Town Hall and hayrides from Wampus Brook Park, magicians and live music at Armonk Square, Frosty cartoons at the library, a scavenger hunt at the Hergenhan Center, and craft making activities and giveaways at shops on Main Street. After the parade there's a tree lighting at Wampus Brook Park at 5pm. Plus, Frosty and Santa photo ops in & around town. Sat, 11/29. More Frosty here!
