An Evening in Good Taste  The annual An Evening in Good Taste To End Childhood Hunger benefit supports the Food Bank for Westchester. Sample gourmet delights and specialty cocktails from Westchester's finest chefs. This year's participating restaurants include Moderne Barn, Beascakes, Cafe of Love, Crabtree's Kittle House, Mt. Kisco Seafood and Sam's of Gedney Way. Last year the Food Bank raised over $200,000 to help fight hunger in Westchester. This event will benefit their Kids Café and Backpack programs. The God Game: The Hudson Stage Company's Armonk Debut  The God Game from The Hudson Stage Company, North Castle Library's newest Artist-In-Residence continues this week. This new play from Suzanne Bradbeer taps into the spirit of the political season when the game of politics becomes a "God game" for a vice-presidential candidate. Taconic Opera presents Falstaff  ArtsWestchester's 2012 Arts Organization of the Year, The Taconic Opera performs fully staged operas with supertitles, full orchestras and singers who have performed at the Met or the New York Opera. Here they take on Giuseppe Verdi's comedic opera Falstaff adapted from Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor. Sat-Sun, 10/18-19 at the Yorktown Stage.

Aldrich Museum: Standing in the Shadows of Love  The third installment of the Aldrich's 50th Anniversary exhibition includes part two of Standing in the Shadows of Love: The Aldrich Collection 1964-1974 - an exhibition of works from Richard Artschwager, Eva Hesse, Ellsworth Kelly, Agnes Martin and Richard Serra opens this week. Stand Up from Amy Schumer, Kathleen Madigan  Saturday night comedy: Amy Schumer, Comedy Central's fastest rising star performs stand up at the Capitol Theatre. Inside Amy Schumer, was Comedy Central's top rated new show of 2013. Her Comedy Central special, Mostly Sex Stuff, was the network's second-highest rated special in 2012. The Preservation Hall Jazz Band with Allen Toussaint  Jazz meets R&B when Allen Toussaint joins the famed Preservation Hall Jazz Band for an evening of music from New Orleans' French Quarter. Some of the artists who have had hits covering Toussaint's songs include Glen Campbell ("Southern Nights"), Leo Dorsey ("Working in the Coalmine"), Ernie K. Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center at PAC  The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, directed by Wu Han and David Finkel, recently announced a three-year residency at Purchase College. They will play 3 concerts this year at PAC beginning Sat, 10/25. CMS regularly appears at Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival, the annual Baroque and Winter Music Festivals at Alice Tully Hall and each December they perform Bach's Brandenburg Concertos at Lincoln Center - an event The New York Times calls "a New York holiday staple."
