A Taste of Westchester at Crabtree's in Chappaqua  The Westchester Community College of Continuing Education's summer cooking classes concludes on Wed, 8/6 at Crabtree's Kittle House where Executive Chef Jay Lippin offers up grilled pineapple salsa, diver sea scallops and Gulf shrimp ceviche, espresso and ancho rubbed prime skirt steak, watermelon and corn relish, and shortbread magic bar blondies with chocolate, coconut, and pecans. Tony winner Jason Robert Brown in White Plains  The Creating Broadway Series from the WPPAC Conservatory Theatre presents a special benefit concert with Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown. Parade from Alfred Uhry at WPPAC  Tony Award winning composer Jason Robert Brown (Bridges of Madison County) and Pulitzer Prize Winning playwright Alfred Uhry (Driving Miss Daisy) musicalize the real-life story of Leo Frank, a Brooklyn-born Jewish man who was falsely accused of murdering a young girl in 1913 Atlanta. Our Town at Wampus Brook Park in Armonk  The Small Town Theatre Company's Summer Concerts in Wampus Brook Park continues with two a capella quartets, Our Town and Chances Are. Our Town, If you like American standards and four part harmony (and who doesn't?) you're in for a treat. Our Town is a past winner of the prestigious Harmony Sweepstakes - the oldest a cappella competition. Moon Viewing Concert & Tea Ceremony at the Hammond  The annual Moonviewing Concert and Tea ceremony at The Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden was begun by Natalie Hays Hammond in 1966. For the evening the stroll garden is lit with Japanese Lanterns where traditional Japanese music is played. The tea ceremony takes place at Guild Hall. Sunset Jazz at Lyndhurst Mansion Lyndhurst Mansion's Sunset Jazz series continues this week with trumpet jazz from the Eddie Allen Hendrik Quintet. Menus in the Movies  As part of her Menus in the Movies series, food author and film buff Carol Durst presents a screening of Daughters of the Dust. This 1991 indei-flick from Julie Dash follows three generations of Gullah women - West African slaves who settled on the sea islands of South Carolina and Georgia. South Carolina's St. Helena Island. The film features a memorable scene of a family picnic and the roots of Creole cooking.
