Len Cariou added to Hudson Stage Company Gala at NCPL  The Hudson Stage Company announced this weekend that Len Cariou will join jazz headliner Ann Hampton Callaway and her sister Broadway star Liz Callaway in a special performance at the HSC gala at Whippoorwill Hall in Armonk on July 13. Cariou is a distiguished member of the Theatre Hall of Fame and a Tony winner for his legendary performance in Sweeney Todd. He is currently starring as Henry Reagan in the hit CBS-TV series Blue Bloods. HSC recently began their residence at Whippoorwill Hall at the North Castle Public Library in anticipation of their debut production of The God Game in October. Read all about it. |

Summer Concert Series in Chappaqua Breezemont Day Camp's Summer Concert Series sponsored by the Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce offers four outdoor music concerts at the gazebo on Recreation Field every Wednesday in July at 7pm. The series kicks off on 7/9 with Chappaqua's Got Talent featuring local bands Natterjack Toad, Music in Chappaqua, Lagond Honors Band and The Velcrows. On 7/16 the Chappaqua Orchestra performs summer classics with guest clarinetist Eric Drucker. The Don Dupont Big Band remembers the big band music of the 40s on 7/23. Sunset Jazz Series at Lyndhurst kicks off this week Lyndhurst Mansion's Sunset Jazz series kicks off this week with The LaGond All Stars. Pleasantville Music Festival The Pleasantville Music Festival offers 13 folk acts and a kids area with face painting, music and games. This family friendly "Woodstock in Westchester" attracts top roots festival performers. 2014's headliners include Ian Hunter & The Rant Band, and Amy Helm & The Handsome Stranger. Music at Lyndhurst Lyndhurst and Copland House present an 'almost' Bastille Day celebration with a concert in the Reception Room of Lyndhurst mansion that salutes American and French independence.
