Organic Deck Farming with Tower Garden
Lauren BernardIf you really want to decrease your carbon footprint you can go green Iike Lauren Bernard did) in your own backyard with the Tower Garden, an aeroponic, vertical gardening system from Future Growing. The system has been in the news since chef John Mooney installed a Tower Garden rooftop farm above his restaurant Bell Book & Candle in NYC. O'Hare Airport soon followed up with their own airport farm. The Tower Garden system is now available to home owners in our area thanks to Armonk resident Lauren Bernard.

Caramoor at KMA
Caramoor at KMA The 2nd Annual Caramoor at KMA music series kicks off this week with the Brooklyn American roots band Cricket Tell the Weather. These outdoor music performances in the Katonah Museum of Art's sculpture garden are picnic friendly events and feature the impeccable roots, chamber music and jazz programming of the Caramoor artistic team. Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival 
With its breathtaking views of the Hudson River, Boscobel is the perfect setting for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival's summer season. For over 25 years, the Festival has been the only resident Shakespeare Company in the Hudson Valley. This year they will present Othello, The Two Gentlemen of Verona and The Liar by David Ivie. Wine Trail tour A two day ticket allows you to visit 14 wineries on the Shawangunk Wine Trail. Sample tapas from 14 countries at the wineries - all paired with regionally crafted wines.
