The Armonk Players Play On
The Armonk Player's take on Rick Abbott's comedy about a community theatre group's trials (without tribulations) of producing a script, Murder Most Foul, from one of it's members . Play On! presents Murder Most Foul in rehearsal, in dress rehearsal and then as an opening night production. It changes every step of the way ... but it only gets worse with each rewrite. Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Small Town Theatre:  Christopher Hampton's 1985 drama from the 1782 novel by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos tells the story of rivals and ex-lovers whose cruel game of pretense brings humiliation and degradation to two young lovers they pretend to help. The play starring Alan Rickman was staged by the Royal Shakespeare Academy and came to Broadway in 1987. Stephen Frears' 1988 screen adaption starred Michelle Pfeifer, Glenn Close and Jon Malkovich.
