Luv! in Croton Falls Quinn Cassevale stars in Murray Schisgal's (Tootsie) 1964 hit comedy Luv! The play gave new meaning to the Henny Youngman punchline, "Take my wife, please." When Milt Manville saves his college buddy from jumping off a bridge he comes up with the idea to have him marry his wife so he can run off with his new girlfriend. The play, that won 3 Tony Awards, and takes a page from the Neil Simon canon pokes fun at the La Dolce Vita world of the early 1960s. It opens at The Schoolhouse Theatre on 5/29 and runs through June. More local performing arts here.

Stayin Alive 5K and Fun Run in Armonk This new event is organized by the newly formed non-profit Stayin Alive whose mission it is to raise funds for North Castle First Responders. Garden Party at John Jay Homestead  The Friends of John Jay Homestead's In The Garden event celebrates the Homestead's remarkable gardens and grounds. Running Goddess 5K in Katonah The Running Goddess 5K race and Kids' Trail Run at Lasdon Park is a family event that helps support The Running Goddess Scholarship Fund founded by Bettina Sementilli as the philanthropic arm of her store Cross Sport woman in Katonah. Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Small Town Theatre:  Christopher Hampton's 1985 drama from the 1782 novel by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos tells the story of rivals and ex-lovers whose cruel game of pretense brings humiliation and degradation to two young lovers they pretend to help. The play starring Alan Rickman was staged by the Royal Shakespeare Academy and came to Broadway in 1987. Stephen Frears' 1988 screen adaption starred Michelle Pfeifer, Glenn Close and Jon Malkovich.
