Forbidden Broadway
This new edition of the Broadway parody musical revue offers new takes on Porgy and Bess, Anything Goes, Follies, Spiderman, Book of Mormon, Nice Work If You Can Get It, and Death of a Salesman. The original 1982 production, by Tony winner Gerard Allessandrini, ran for 2,332 performances. Since then it has been updated a dozen times to keep it current. Fri, 5/2: 8pm, Sat, 5/3: 3pm. Hudson StageThe Hudson Stage Company's Family Reunion at Pace University presents one acts from Harold Pinter and Caryl Churchill that offer intriguing takes on the theme of family and identity. Pinter's A Kind of Alaska is inspired by an Oliver Sacks story of a middle-aged woman who wakes up from a thirty year coma with the mind of a 16 year old. In Churchill's A Number two middle-aged men discover they are clones of an older brother they never knew they had. May 2-17. Read more.

Kykuit Tours Open 
KykuitGuided tours of Kykuit, the hillside paradise that was home to four generations of the Rockefeller family opens for the season on May 3. Summer Institute for the Gifted at Rippowam Cisqua

Join Camp Kiwi for the ultimate Gaga Tournament to benefit the Friends of Karen. Gaga Ball is a lot like dodgeball but it is played in a octagonal ring. Gaga Fest includes 10 championship Gaga courts and other activities including the Skyrider Zipline, a rock wall, inflatables and more. The Bedford Recreation Department will host two events this weekend. There's pizza, bingo, prizes and dessert for kids, grades 2-7, at the Bedford Community House on Sat. Southside JohnnySouthside Johnny emerged from the same Jersey Shore music scene as Bruce Springsteen. His first three albums were produced by band co-founder Steve Van Zandt and featured songs by Van Zandt and Springsteen. Including, Van Zandt's "I Don't Want To Go Home" that became the band's theme song. Southside's album Hearts of Stone was named a Top 100 Album of the 70s & 80s by Rolling Stone. Fri, 5/9: 8pm.
