The Haunted Pumpkin Garden at NYBG  Spooky Halloween activities at the New York Botanical Garden have started with the Haunted Pumpkin Garden at the New York Botanical Garden. The installation showcases 500 intricately carved pumpkin sculptures of scarecrows, snakes, spiders and more. Tracy Morgan at Stamford Center for the Arts  A 7 season vet on SNL, where he created such memorable characters as "Astronaut Jones" and "Brian Fellows," Tracy Morgan brings his stand-up show to the Stamford Center for the Arts. Free Concert at NCPL  The Fishtank Ensemble bring their "cross-pollinated gypsy music" (as coined by LA Weekly) for a free concert at the Armonk library. Armonk Outdoor Art Show  The nationally recognized Armonk Outdoor Art Show features over 185 juried artists presenting a wide spectrum of media from oils, drawing, water color, acrylics, photography and print making to paper cutting, sculpture, clay, wood and jewelry. Feed Me Fresh: An Edible Evening  The Mt. Kisco Child Care Center's Feed Me Fresh fundraiser is named for their garden-to-table nutrition program. This year's event will be held at Ivanna Farm in Bedford Corners. There will be live music, hors d'oeuvres, tastings from regional chefs, an auction and an open farm market. An Iliad at PAC Tony Award winner Dennis O'Hare and co-writer and Director Lisa Peterson present Homer's Trojan War in a performance of 'one classic story, one actor, a stage full of characters." Graham Nash, Diane Reeves in Tarrytown  Four-time Grammy winner and jazz great Diane Reeves plays the Tarrytown Music Hall on Sat, 9/28: 8pm. (Saw her at Caramoor - fantastic show.) Graham Nash has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - once with The Hollies and once with Crosby, Stills & Nash. Closer: The Graphic Art of Chuck Close at the Bruce  This new exhibit presents the most intriguing examples of this great modern master's ouevre. While the body of Close's work is composed almost exclusively of portraits, this exhibit presents a wide range of media in which the artist worked. Including, silkscreen, mezzotint, handmade paper, direct gravure etching, and this 43 color woodcut self portrait. A lecture and film series will accompany the exhibit. Sat-Sun, 9/28-1/26/14. Caramoor Fall Festival: Jazz in the Courtyard  The Caramoor Fall Festival is a two night music celebration of jazz and classical music. Bedford Village Chowder & Marching Club Bash  The Bedford Chowder & Marching Club's annual bash features dinner, music, games, raffle and auction. New this year, a showcase of repurposed/upcycled art from local artist Kim Dittrich using items salvaged from the club's Spring Cleanup Weekend fundraiser.
