Yorktown Grange Fair  Hailed as Westchester's only true country fair, The Yorktown Grange Fair celebrates its 90th anniversary. What you will find: antique tractor and animal parades, livestock exhibits, baby chicks, horsemanship competitions, hay rides, rubber chicken throwing and roping competition, watermelon and pie eating, and karaoke competitions, a bicycle stunt show, magic show, music, carnival rides, funnel cakes, and food, food , food. White Plains International Food & Jazz Festival  Jazz Fest 2013 is a three day celebration held in various venues in White Plains. ArtsWestchester presents two events including a Latin Jazz, Food & Spirits event featuring Bobby Sanabria and Qaurteto Ache on Friday night. On Saturday, Lynette Washington, Dennis Bell and Butch Jones offer up R&B and gospel sounds at Jazz Til Midnight. On Sunday, the City of White Plains presents The White Plains International Food & Jazz Fest between Mamaroneck and Martine Avenues featuring former Yankee Bernie Williams. Cabaret in Stamford  Stamford Center for the Arts' Broadway/Cabaret/Jazz series, Perfect Pairs, opens on 9/7 with Grammy nominated pianist Judy Carmichael, one of the world's leading interpreters of stride piano. She will team up with Steve Ross, the "Crown Prince of New York Cabaret." BRLA Fall Pace and Picnic
Or take your horse for a ride and enter the Bedford Riding Lanes Association Fall Pace. The event, at John Jay Homestead features a one to two hour pace over part of the 100 linear miles of trails in Bedford and Pound Ridge that are maintained by the BRLA. What To Do: Museums Fall 2013  This new exhibit at Greenwich's Bruce Museum features over 40 prints that capture the spirit of the American realism movement of the early 20th century. Like this 1930 image, Subway Steps, by Martin Lewis, the show's images show modern society during a period of great change. The exhibit includes works by George Bellows, Thomas Hart Benton, Edward Hopper, Grant Wood and many others.
