Performing Arts Center 2013-14 Tickets are now on sale for the Performing Arts Center's 2013-14. PAC's season kicks off on September 28 with a performance by jazz great Cassandra Wilson. Telling American History at the Bruce Museum
Bruce Museum This new exhibit features over 40 prints from the collection of Dr. Dorrance T. Kelly that capture the spirit of the American realism movement of the early 20th century. Like this 1930 image, Subway Steps by Martin Lewis, the show's images depict modern society during a period of great change. The exhibit focuses on images of recreation, urban development, transportation and industry, and rural America. It includes works by George Bellows, Thomas Hart Benton, Edward Hopper and Grant Wood. Cabaret in Stamford Stamford Center for the Arts' Broadway/Cabaret/Jazz series, Perfect Pairs, opens on 9/7 with Grammy nominated pianist Judy Carmichael, one of the world's leading interpreters of stride piano and swing. She will team up with the "Crown Prince of New York Cabaret" Steve Ross.
