Remix: A WTD Fave Rave at the KMA Remix: Selections from the International Collage Center features work created during the past 70 years by over 100 artists. The exhibit's themes include collage with text, social commentary, works that challenge scale, and collage in the digital age. The show includes a piece from Romare Bearden; a profile of Andy Warhol by Ray Johnson that will have you playing Where's Waldo; and so many images reminiscent of the styles of great Modern Art that we had trouble picking one for this post. Flags Across America at Bruce Museum  In this new exhibit Darien resident Robert Carley captures the American spirit in photographs of Old Glory in many forms including a pick-up truck a chain-link fence, a surf board, a farm silo and a hot air balloon. Great Hudson Estuary Fish Count Join Teatown Lake Reservation and the Strawtown Art and Garden Studio as they seine for fish and other creatures in the Hudson River's Tappan Zee Bay at the Kathryn W. Summer Cinema Tuesdays at Chappaqua Library  Here's a fun (and free) summer movie series at the Chappaqua Library that kicks off on 7/23 with Mr. Hobbs Takes a Holiday. In this 1962 film Jimmy Stewart and Maureen O'Hara play out a familiar theme: a family holiday becomes a comic nightmare when the extended family shows up. On 7/30 John Candy doesn't need any extended bloodlines to ruin his family vacation (he takes care of it himself) in the 1985 film Summer Rental. A Midsummer Night's Dream at Westmoreland Sanctuary  The Westmoreland Sanctuary's new Shakespeare Festival presents an interactive production of A Midsummer Night's Dream from Denise Simon's Actors Workshop. Shrek The Musical in Tarrytown  The Random Farms Youth Theatre presents Shrek The Musical at the Tarrytown Music Hall. The Random Farms Youth Theatre was created in 1995 by then 16 year old Chappaqua resident Anya Wallach. Since then Random Farms' productions have been staged throughout Westchester County. Today members (kindergarten through college) come from all over the tri-state area and the group is the resident children's theater company at the Tarrytown Music Hall.
