Mallick won the Best Director award at the 1978 Cannes Film Festival, and Nestor Almendros won an Academy Award for Best Cinematography for the film. Neil Simon's Last of the Red Hot Lovers
The Schoolhouse Theater presents Neil Simon's Last of the Red Hot Lovers. Watch the nebbishy Barney Cashman try to catch up with the sexual revolution of the sixties and strike out three times - with a whiskey swilling sexpot, a mad actress, and his wife's best friend. Spuyten Duyvil kicks off Caramoor at KMA on June 12
For the first time, KMA and Caramoor will co-produce a trilogy of roots, jazz and classical music concerts. First up on Wed, 6/12 is the Hudson Valley Alt-Roots band Spuyten Duyvil. Stephen Winick of the Huffington Post called them "an eight piece powerhouse of guitars, fiddles, harmonica, bouzouki, lap steel ... and high energy vocals."
