Italian Baroque sonatas and capriccios will be heard from cellist Charles Ash while you while you enjoy a buffet with refreshments near a warming wood fire.
Alluring art, period antiques and decorative objects, as you know, are our source of joy and excitement. Abundant offerings for Holiday decorating and gifts will be found including Louis XV, George III, American Chippendale, and Italian Baroque 18th century furniture. Other possible enhancements for your home are: a George III rent table, an inlaid chess table, two large gilt pier mirrors, signed oil paintings by American and Continental artists, comfortable chairs, Delft, nautical oils and much more.
Norham Castle, 1856 by Thomas Clark
Thomas Clark excelled at his large oils of English and Australian landscapes. This expansive view measures 42" by 61" and will be the contemplative piece needed for that important wall. An exceptional original frame with tendril decoration carries a hand inscribed title and the artist's name.

A Winter Quote...
"Nature has many scenes to exhibit, and constantly draws a curtain over this part or that. She is constantly repainting the landscape and all surfaces, dressing up some scene for our entertainment. Lately we had a leafy wilderness; now bare twigs begin to prevail, and soon she will surprise us with a mantle of snow. Some green she thinks so good for our eyes that, like blue, she never banishes it entirely from our eyes, but has created evergreens." ~Henry David Thoreau, Nov. 8, 1858
