Good morning, Just discovered and my favorite today is this 17th century Italian walnut commode with a molded overhang top with rare incurvate corners over a conforming case and base ( a more difficult construction for sure!). Each drawer face and the flanking corners are richly carved and mounted with brass pulls. The stepped bracket base features carved panels at the corners, each with ovolo ends. This would be the height of style in an Italian palazzo in the 1600's and an incredible, incomparable gem in your home today. H. 34", w. 47", d. 21.5". $6450.

This Baroque English oak joint stool was a popular form in the 1620's when it was created and has never lost the charm and practicality. It carries lunette and floral carving at the aprons over baluster legs. Restored. H. 20", w. 17.5"., d. 11". $735.

Commode detail.

On top of the commode is an 18th century Dutch Delft punch bowl. The accuracy of the robust brushwork and the freshness of the colors successfully capture the detail of these blooms. No major repairs. D. 10.5". $495. Also on the commode, a near pair or "companion" pair of brass balauster turner candlesticks on triangular bases, Spanish, circa 1690. Ht. 18". $650 the two. A Japanese bronze jar, late 19th century, with cast decoration in a waist band and a flaring rim is in lovely patina. H. 8", w. 8". $190.
An 18th or 19th century Norwegian snuff box in burl wood with a finish polished by years of handling. L. 4". $46.
