Oil on canvas of shepherd boy in a blue shirt with his flock on a field bounded by a woods. This was painted by an English artist, Percy Belgrave, in the 19th century. Signed in the lower right. Overall 32' by 46".

This pair of Satsuma vases is in very nice condition with no repairs. The handpainted detail is at the highest level with a with bold colors on tree peonies. Birds perch in the branches against a background of mountains and the sea. Maker's mark beneath. H. 12.5" d.7". A strong value, I would suggest, at $275 the pair. Call early.
