Greetings, Our Fall event is this Saturday and we have been buying some great things which we know you will enjoy and want to take home. However you, my dear newsletter reader, you get an early chance today before the event begins. Here are a couple surprises. This lovely oil on canvas is by the well listed Wesley Webber, American, 1839-1914. Webber was known for his landscape and marine painting. In this most inviting scene, the sun highlights a distant meadow of cattle as viewed through a shaded glen, done in impressionistic style. His work is displayed at the Peabody as well as the Boston Atheneum.
