I am pleased to offer this most delightful room size Fereghan Sarouk, a true antique, dating around 1880-90s. Intricate floral and vine designs are drawn at center in soft red, grass green, ivory, blues, and black in a complex medallion surrounded by navy cartouches and surrounded by a large field in a soft red bound by ivory corners. All is framed in a beautiful and complex border on a navy ground. These Persian rugs are sophisticated in design and finely woven in soft colors of natural dyes. Please let me send you enlargeable images to show this fine quality. These are thin rugs and this one retains an even low nap with slightly deeper borders. 9' 1" by 13' 1" $4500.

There are few desks which can be placed in the central part of a large room. Above, a shapely 18th English walnut kneehole desk with a serpentine front under a conforming top supported by cabriole legs with carved knees. The top has a molded edge and below are selected walnut veneers which are quartered at each side. This unusual form is, of course, finished on the backside as well. Old repairs. H. 29.5", w. 56", d. 24.5". $1650.
