Here, two 18th century French 18th century chairs are to appeal to your love of this early period and taste for fine damasks. The armchair is of the early Louis XV style and period with carved cabriole legs and shaped arm supports. The is a comfortably large chair with a broad seat and raked back recently covered in a fine floral damask. H. 36", w. 28", d. 32".  You will not find a chair of comparable quality with this proper cover.  $1795.
At right is my walnut Louis XIII backstool with strong and well executed baluster turnings. The rake of the back is comfortable and the tall serpentine crested back is appealing. We just covered this solid example in Pierre Frey's Fadini Borghi, a beautiful silk that money cannot buy, as it is no longer produced. When you see this in person you will realize an emotional bond that will make you take it home with you. Your rational side will quickly make the same decision at my price of $995. You will never replace this   French charm at this figure if you mis this one. H. 49", w. 21", d. 26". Early 18th century.

Below, from two private collections, is a rare group of late 18th or early 19th century American blown glass. As you know, the hot molten glass was blown into molds and then finished as it cooled. At left are two goblets, one in a quilted pattern, the other in a swirl. Height 3.5" each, $150 for the companion pair.
At right, is are three mold blown decanters, one in the sunburst pattern. Could you use the larger for whiskey and the smaller for sweet vermouth? You might have to love Manhattans (the English drink with nothing to do with NYC except its popularity there).  Height 8.5' and 5.5", the .
now matched ( I use the British meaning here) set, $200.

Chair details below.
