Above, an exciting and much inlaid sofa or library table, Continental, early 1800's, made in mahogany with fine inlays and quill-work. All is done in the best neoclassical style with a pair of drawers to one side and false drawers to the other over a trestle form base. H. 30.5", w. 40" (leaves down), d. 30".

A large 51" by 19" Continental pier mirror is in the Rococo style, 18th or early 19th century, with composition and gilded gesso over carved wood. This is carefully detailed and in very sound restored condition. Ready to place in your hall and display your excellent taste.

An American oil on canvas, early 20th century, signed T. Bailey ( an apocryphal signature. Call me for the whole story on the artists that painted these ships). Details are well handled with good color. Very nice condition, 23" by 19", $575.
