Here is a perfect stool to place in front of the fireplace.
 Above, an early English oak "Queen Anne" stool, 18th century carries a slip seat on a moulded edge frame with a shaped apron. The leg is well formed with a strong hip on curvaceous cabriole legs terminating in slipper feet. H. 18", w. 20", d. 18". Recent cover. |
A pair of large antique carved wooden baroque candlesticks with leafage over polychrome busts set on scrollwork tripod bases are shown in old dusty gilt finish. These are considered generally as ecumenical in source. Ht. 37.5".
The elegant Boulle table casket of tortoiseshell and brass inlay with ormolu mounts is late 19th century and in "as discovered" condition. Please call for full details.
