Greetings,
Please don't let winter weather impede your ever vigorous search for choice art and antiques. Take your mind off the clime and refocus on the joy of  the chase that buoys us all.
Here are two of my most recent purchases now offered to direct your compass of imagination and tempt your sophisticated taste.

Above, a most sought after Baroque Italian 17th century commode has a moulded edge top overhanging supporting corbels over drawers with raised central panels bound by moulded rims in the bold taste of the period. At each side, flat panels are rimmed by carved mouldings. All rests on a strong and substantial carved moulding properly balanced by the original large bun feet. In two parts and retaining old finish and with later iron hardware, the chest measures: h.36", w. 41", d. 27". Don't hesitate to call or email for further details. All items offered are here for your immediate inspection.

Below, a Korean tonsu is in a most sought after small size at height 24", width 20.5", an depth 15.5". Made of a darkly patinaed soft wood, the chest is bound with hand wrought iron straps at the corners. Further wrought work decorates the main drawer face and escutcheon and is detailed with piercing, leafage and fans with a cast rosette. Iron pulls include the drawer handles and convenient side lifts. A separate, probably later base is in old black paint. $965.
